I am a photographer and a poet. I specialize in family and wedding photography. I love the photojournalistic shooting style, capturing candid moments in their purest form. My work is an array of nature and human emotion — some are accompanied by words of my own or of poets I admire.
I am a proud queer immigrant who grew up in the Philippines. I moved to the US as an adult, and yes, it has been quite a journey. I am based in the Bay Area, California, but I travel for projects around the country. I gravitate toward the poetry of humanity and nature and strive to capture that with my camera.
I am also a proud volunteer photographer for Mahalaya Newspaper, amplifying Filipino voices and showcasing our stories in the US.

“Knowing nothing about Jen, we signed up for a mini session hoping to get at least a few decent photos of our whole family. We were so pleasantly surprised by both the experience and the photos.
First, Jen had an amazing and relaxed way of interacting with all of us, but especially our kids. Although we had limited time because it was a mini session, they let the kids start by doing what they wanted, and as a result they were relaxed and had fun.
